Home away from home

Our spring break road trip began with 3 days in Utah.  We are huge UT fans and never spend enough time there.  The sole purpose of going to Utah was to watch Gonzaga (we are alumni) play in the March Madness tournament.

The weather was cold, and the entire basketball team and cheerleaders were in our hotel, so we hardly ventured out.  No need to!  All the entertainment was within our hotel or within walking distance.  I had so much fun and could hardly sleep with excitement. I felt like I was in college again!

We did make a short stop at the outdoor mall, just to say we did it.
After seeing the really tall Gonzaga guys, all three of our kids now want to go to Gonzaga, and only Gonzaga, for college.
We pretty much stalked the basketball team every day in the lobby and the elevators. We are like besties now!
We also did some cartwheels in the hotel's rad toy store.

On the day of the game, the kids sadly didn't come with us since tickets were so expensive.  Patrick and I had the greatest time cheering on the Bulldogs! Even though they lost, it was such an amazing game and you could feel the GU love from every corner of the arena.  Awesome!
 We love you Gonzaga!!

Tomorrow:  let the road trip continue on down
