The big hitch

This weekend, our crew was in the Wagon Days Parade. We got to ride in honor of State Farm and invited our good friends to come along with us.

The parade is a massive event and I think we saw the entire town, plus a ton of tourists.  Quite fun!
The Buchanans and the Griffins scoping out the baby horses.

The parade is the largest non-motorized parade in the US.  You either have to go in a horse wagon or on a horse.  We got to ride on a beautiful white carriage.
Braden, our avid reader, even brought his book along in case the parade got too long!
Patrick got to ride up front.

True story:  The driver of our horse wagon grew up in  Walla Walla, WA (where Patrick grew up) and knew Grandpa Martin.  Small world!
Happy Labor Day Weekend!!
