Proud to be an American

For Memorial Day weekend, we were supposed to go to Yellowstone and the Jackson Hole Rodeo. I was eager for this dream trip......yet, Mother Nature had other plans.  It was going to snow there and since I'm over the snow, we had to make last minute trip plans.

So, we joined our friends on their Utah trip!

WONDERFUL trip that was full of America pride and full of fun.  Our smiles and feet were tired at the end of the day.

You know that Elise and I are in Heaven when we get to prance around the hotel in these fine slippers!

The second day we were there, we went to the Hills Air Force Base Air Show.  It felt so great and comforting to be back on a military base. Fond memories flooded my head and I greatly missed my days of being an Army Wife.

Patrick's old patch is the yellow one with the horses' head.  All of the kids wanted to buy his old patch so they could put it on their backpacks.
This is the Service Flag that we would proudly hang in our home whenever Patrick was deployed.
Mr. Will was so into the planes and soaked it all up.
 The Buchanan and Griffin boys.

Ali Cat and Elisey Cat protecting their ears from the LOUD jets.
We love you Griffin family....thanks for letting us crash your vacation.   Where should we go next?
